Interlibrary Loan
Anyone with a current Lavenia McCoy/Pine River Public Library card may request an interlibrary loan (ILL) through the statewide SWIFT Interlibrary Loan Service. This service requires a simple one-time setup. Please request your set-up at the Circulation Desk or call us at (970) 884-2222 ext. 10. After set-up, you can search the online database from any computer with Internet access by clicking on the SWIFT button below to begin your search. You can also always request an Interlibrary Loan in person at the Circulation Desk. Before your request can be processed, fines over $5 and other delinquencies must be cleared from your record. Materials owned by our library or the Mancos Public Library cannot be borrowed through Interlibrary Loan. When you check our catalog, make sure you are searching in "View Entire Collection" and are not searching in "Lavenia McCoy Library" only. To request these items, please call the Circulation Desk or place a hold through your library account. Also, requested materials must be at least one (1) year old before they can be requested through Interlibrary Loan. To request items published in the last 12 months and not owned by our library, please contact the Circulation Desk to fill out the Interlibrary Loan Patron Request Form. Movies and current bestsellers are not available for Interlibrary Loan. Requested materials may arrive within 10-14 days; other may take 3-4 weeks. Occasionally, materials you have ordered may not be available. We will notify you if we are not able to obtain your requested material.
You will be notified by telephone or email when your item arrives. Please be sure the library has your correct phone number and/or email address before placing an Interlibrary Loan.
The loan period for Interlibrary Loan items is three weeks. Renewals are generally not permitted. Overdue Interlibrary Loan items are not renewable. The fine for overdue Interlibrary Loan items is $1.00 per day.
Please DO NOT remove the ILL form that is on your ILL material.
You may have a maximum of 5 items on order at one time.
