Meeting Room

The Library provides meeting room space for Library sponsored and co-sponsored programs. When not being used by the Library, the meeting room is available for not-for-profit groups for meetings and programs of an informational, educational, cultural, or civic nature. No selling, solicitation, or taking of orders may occur within the meeting room. Rooms are available Monday-Saturday after 8 a.m., and Sunday after 12:00 p.m. Meeting rooms are not available on holidays.

All meetings must be free and open to the public so no admission charge is permitted.

Reservations for the meeting room are made in advance through the Circulation Desk (970) 884-2222, ext. 10. A responsible group representative must fill out the Meeting Room Application before the meeting room can be used.

Please call at least three days in advance to cancel a reservation. If a group does not show up for a scheduled reservation or does not restore the room to a clean and orderly state, the Library reserves the right to withhold meeting room privileges.

Use of the meeting room does not imply endorsement, support, or co-sponsorship by the Lavenia McCoy Public Library of the activities that take place in the meeting room or of the beliefs of the groups using the meeting room. Groups or individuals using the meeting room may not imply that the event or program is sponsored, co-sponsored, or endorsed by the Library in any advertising or publicity.
